WOW! No double Arabian, but choreographically, this is another masterpiece. Absolutely love watching her.

To Guns N’ Roses’ “Welcome to the Jungle.” She hardly even ran into that double layout!

Absolutely sharp stuff from Elyse once again. She had quite a spark at this competition after a disappointing showing against Utah the weekend prior. She competed just bars and beam at both meets.

Cool dismount combo from the 2011 NCAA beam champion. She had the highest all-around score in both of UCLA’s first two meets, with matching 39.45’s.

Very impressive work from the UCLA freshman. Note the attention to choreography in between the skills – something this entire team showed. UCLA put up a stunning 49.55 on beam in this meet – a 9.91 average in the second meet of the season!

Looking back to her old self following her Achilles injury from last year.

Execution-wise, this is stunning…absolutely gorgeous lines, and I love the almost “slow motion” effect as she casts to those perfect straight body handstands. The Shaposhnikova is an addition from last year, but overall this routine is way too easy for her. She can do an awesome Deltchev and Tcatchev, and hopefully she’s planning on adding at least one of these back in.
