Five stories to watch for during the women's competitions at World Championships this week
Women's world team named! I have to say “squad” because one of these seven will end up as the team alternate, but here they are: Rebecca Bross, Alicia Sacramone, Mattie Larson, Aly Raisman, Bridget Sloan, Mackenzie Caquatto, Chelsea Davis

After months of scouring YouTube for videos from all of the big competitions that have been going on around the world, it was great to finally watch a TV broadcast again. Here are some of my thoughts on NBC's coverage of the Pacific Rim Championships yesterday.
Just a reminder that NBC will be televising the recent Pacific Rim Championships Saturday, May 22 from 1:30pm to 3:00pm. Some of the biggest names in USA Gymnastics as well as some international stars...don't miss it!
The 2010 World Championships in Rotterdam, The Netherlands are exactly FIVE months away. With much international competition in 2010 already taken place, it's likely we've been watching many of the stars who will be competing for world medals this fall. Although it was nearly three years ago, the last women's world team title was actually won by the United States in 2007. Take a look at six gymnasts who may very well be capable of matching that feat should they be selected for this year's USA world team.
Aly Raisman the second gymnast for American Cup? I think it’s possible. After a couple posters reminded me, I did realize that there are some gymnasts who were juniors last year who will be turning 16 this year, and thus are now “seniors” and eligible for the world team.
